BSOD and crashes after 30 - 60 minutes of being on.
I have tried everything I could think of myself, but I just can't figure out what's happening.
Here's a little on the situation, a couple days ago I had to move my desktop in one of the compartments in my desk, I did not like that but I figured I'll just leave the door open so it doesn't overheat. Well a day later I forgot to leave it open, I was playing a game and BSOD, I already knew what I had done, I quickly opened the door and feared the worst. I gave it a couple minutes and turned it back on, to my surprise everything was working perfectly, or so I thought.
Here is what is happening now, I turn on my computer and everything is fine, I can do anything from playing games to browse websites or leave it completely idle and after about 30 to 60 minutes the comp starts freezing (cant do anything at all) and either turns off or BSOD.
Here is what I've tried and done.
Completely cleaned the inside of the desktop.
Unplugged and re plugged everything except the CPU.
Reformatted (I thought it could have been software somehow)
The only change I got from that is that I no longer get BSOD when the crash happens, the computer simply restarts itself without warning
Stress tested the CPU (maintained 50 degrees during the test)
Stress tested the GPU (maxed at 69 degrees and remained there for the rest of the test)
Monitored available temps until a crash (nothing abnormal)
Checked "Event viewer" but all I get is the "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly."
Here are my specs:
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-P67A-UD4-B3
PSU: CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX750M 750W ATX12V
CPU: Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz
Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3
Graphics: SAPPHIRE 100311-3SR Radeon HD 6970 2GB 256-bit
Hard Drives: Crucial M4 CT064M4SSD2 2.5" 64GB SSD
Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM003 1TB 7200 RPM
I have been at this for 3 days, any help would be greatly appreciated.
