Error Code 0x0000007B (0x0000034, 0x000000, etc)
To start my laptop started out making weird glitchy noises whenever i was doing something on it and it started to get a little hot.
Then I would leave for a min and get a system memory dump / bluescreen. Then after wards it wouldn't load windows and just bluescreen after windows logo and restart. I let it do that for awhile and turned it off for a day then turned it back on. WAHLA it worked!
This same cycle repeated a few times.
Now ive come to the problem where it has happened again and that solution isn't working. I can't run system repair because when it asks me to load an OS or drivers my OS doesn't show up in the list (windows 7). I cant run windows XP recovery disk to use chkdsk because it will just give me the same blue screen. Also the BIOS will only SOMETIMES recognize my HDD. Only when i change the loading drivers from ACHI to IDE or the reverse.
Also when i try to run chkdsk in command console I get " cannot get direct access to volumes" error code.
I also cannot boot into safe mode.
From what I have gathered so far I may have a boot virus, or a bunk HDD.
I don't give 2 shits about what is on my HDD so any recomendations will help on trying to just get the comp up and running again.
I only a Windows XP home eddition disk and a Hal's All in One tools disk.
Please help me.
