Need help with a friend's machine...

... I'm helping a friend look at a problem he's been having with his machine. He says it's been randomly dying on him recently. I tried to use Blue Screen View and it suggested a problem with ntoskrnl.exe, but I'm afraid that's as far as I'm technically able to go. I've attached the info from the SF Diagnostic tool here... Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi Bhudie,

Your logs show Kaspersky to be contributing to your BSOD issues:

    Code:
    start end module name
    fffff880`033de000 fffff880`033e8000 klim6
    fffff880`04250000 fffff880`0427d000 kneps
    Please remove Kaspersky: Service articles

As an alternative, please download and install:

    Microsoft Security Essentials.
Recommended from a strict BSOD perspective, compatibility & stability
compared to other antiviruses/internet security software.

       Note
Once downloaded, update and run a full system scan

Also your Intel(R) 82579V Gigabit Network Connection driver is causing issues:

    Code:
    fffff880`0f657000 fffff880`0f6d8000 e1c62x64
See if there is an updated driver available using the Intel Driver Update Utility:

    https://downloadcenter.intel.com/default.aspx

    Cheers
    Dave
