    BSOD 0x124


    Hey guys i recently got a new Zotac Gtx 660 replaced as my old gtx 470 had gone bad
    ever since i have installed it i frequently keep on getting BSOD error 0x124 i thought since i updated my card i need to install a new copy of windows 7 x64 and latest nvidia drivers for my gtx 660 yet the problem remains i wanna know what can i do to fix it if u need my hardware specs here they are

    Motherboard : Asus P7P55D
    Processor : Intel i5 760 - 2.80 GHZ
    Rams : G skills DDR 3 8 GB - ( 4GB x 1 ) ( 2GB x 2 ) sticks
    GFX - Zotac GTX 660
    HDD - WD 2 TB
    Power Supply - Corsair VX 550

    Please i need help tired of this problem

    Remove McAfee from Control Panel then run the tool below

    http://download.mcafee.com/products/...tches/MCPR.exe

    Install MSE instead below

    thanks for your quick response do u think removing macafee will solve the problem ? as im using the legit copy for macafee.
    i dont know how to update the bios i downloaded the bios for my M/B dont know how to run it ? as far as windows go i will take care of it .. :)

    Fix your issue of Windows by purchasing a legit copy and format the hard drive and install Windows . McAfee shouldn't be reinstalled .

    the bsod hasent come since last 2 days and i have been running my pc non stop and restarting it as well after every 12 hours do u think its nessecary to reinstall windows.
