is it the slots or is it the ram itself?

It could be either, that's why you need to swap them as suggested so you
can determine which one is failing.

    Cheers

So I ran test for about 7 hours before I got this error, will I have to continue this process everytime I switch the slots?

Perhaps, as the goal is to identify whether it is a bad stick of RAM, a faulty motherboard,
    or incompatibility between the sticks.

    Run for 7 passes.

7 passes? wow! Looking at my other mem test it took me 7.833 hours to run 2.83 passes it would take near 20 hours every time I want to test the RAM

I do believe I found a problem from what I see.
The post #1 log shows a OEM/SLP with a Acer SLIC using a retail motherboard. I don't believe that will work.

    I see your dilemma.

The only thing I can suggest is either follow the test or
try one RAM module in and see if your crashes stop.

Probably a silly question, You do have the modules in the correct RAM slots (same colours?)
as it is dual memory? As I see you have 2 x 8GB RAM modules.

I just checked again to make sure I do and they are in the correct slots. I will test one stick at a time now, I guess I need some time off of my computer. I will post updates off of my phone.
