No, it's just for testing purposes.
Bugcheck = BSOD, just different terminology. |

I couldn't enter sleep whilst in Safe Mode, so I couldn't see if I could re-create the problem.

Alright let's try this out then.
Follow this tutorial to get to the Device Manager, but instead of installing a driver, uninstall your intel adapter. Up to step 2, but choose uninstall. When you choose uninstall you may be presented with a check-box to delete the driver as well tick it if you do. Code:
Intel(R) Centrino(R) Ultimate-N 6300 AGN if it does let it then try to trigger it again. Share the results ![]() |

Under display adapters I also have a Radeon (TM) HD 7850M which has a yellow signal on it... should I be uninstalling that too? I've tried to update it to solve the yellow symbol problem but it says it's already up to date.

Uninstalled the driver and restarted computer. It re-installed the driver automatically and restarted the computer. I tried to trigger the problem and it didn't trigger. I was already expecting this I mean, it comes and goes so it might come back in the future. What still doesn't work is my brightness adjusting and the Radeon driver still has a yellow symbol next to it.

Losing faith is never good.
The yellow triangle needs to be taken care of. ![]() Don't install the Catalyst Control Center , choose Advanced then Custom and deselect the CCC option

If you could quickly checkout this screenshot before I proceed. CCC will be uninstalled, should I uninstall anything else? Should I also uninstall the whole uninstall manager itself later on?
Screenshot: http://gyazo.com/a77bf47dc0ba4f234fbe3343d8f05db0 I also got another BSOD this morning, so the whole process we did earlier probably didn't help :S Attachment 284861 |

BSOD when resizing/closing World of Warcraft, also when closing Chrome Hello everyone, I'm having the issue noted above. BSODs attribute the crash to either one of two files: cdd.dll (most commonly) and win32k.sys (only once). Screen turns jagged, goes black and then BSOD but only occasionally. I've had this crashes happen to me only 4 times in a whole week already.... |
