    BSOD Ntoskrnl.exe whilest playing LoL

    Heya,

This will be my first post after a lot of lurking, I hope you guys dont mind me posting this as a first post though.

A few days ago, my League of Legends got corrupted, when I started the game things you normally should have been able to see were missing.
So I tried reinstall the game, apparently I couldnt do it at that time because a file got locked somehow.
And now I have reinstalled the whole OS, as I was setting up all the drivers of the laptop and installing the game at the same time, the laptop started to BSOD everytime mid install (of the game), it would just happen randomly.

After a couple BSOD's, I finally managed to install LoL, I didnt suspect LoL at the time of BSOD's to be responsible, I suspected the drivers/hdd to be the cause. Anyway, as I installed LoL and tried to play a game, it would regularly BSOD midgame.

Now I suspect that LoL is the problem, but even after uninstalling it (just the normal way: control panel > uninstall) then reinstalling it, the BSOD's still occur while midinstallation.

I'm still not sure, because the BSOD's only happen when i'm having an active online connection to the game server and actually playing with people (custom games BSOD's as easily as a normal game with people in it).

The BSOD's were nearly all about ntoskrnl.exe, so its definitely something else causing it, i havent done a memtest, I did have some problems downloading the drivers, but I have managed to install all of them correctly later on. I ran a chkdsk it also came out with 0 problems. Blue screen viewer, and whocrashed have also been unable to find the problem causing it.

I'm sorry for any grammatical errors or any form of miscommunication, English isnt my first language.

    Thanks!

Stolen Lenova key ... installation is counterfeit. Lots of other obvious cracks going on in your installation, no wonder you have problems.

Purchase genuine Windows 7, format and reinstall for happy days..

yeah noticed it now, shouldnt have done that :/

Is it still possible to remove the whole windows and try to restore its old one? I do have the key but not the windows cd.

EDIT: my pc didnt have a recovery partition, so I might have to go and buy windows 7 then.

    1. Download the correct ISO here
    2. Burn it to DVD
    3. Boot from DVD
    4. Format the entire HDD
    - You have no guarantee now that your system isn't full of malware piggy-backing off this very poorly cracked installation - my dog could have done a better job - hence the format is a neccessity
    5. Install Windows 7
    6. Activate using Product Key on bottom of laptop
    7. Don't do silly things like look for support using counterfeit software

    Good luck.

EDIT : No need to purchase anything if you have a product key - read steps 1 to 7 carefully.

I never knew about this, never heard of it before, this is actually really great, thanks for this. I'm currently installing it then placing it on a usb to boot it from there.

Thanks a lot, its a lot better than this.

Edit: How do I know which one I have to download? Above the key it states windows 7 home premium OA.

Is that the Sp1, or the RTM?

    Heya, i'm back again,

The new OS has installed perfectly, had to install a couple of drivers and thats all, but a problem occurred:
it appears that I still get the BSOD, this time the BSOD is about memory management.
Ive got two different ones, and they both occurred when I was installing/downloading LoL.

Reading the crash report of whocrashed, it stated that a third party was responsible.
    files attached.

    Thanks!

bump, I did a checkdisk on it, it came out clean.
Just had another bsod, this time Bugcheck code: 0x50, PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA.
The dump is saved on memory.dmp so its quite a big file, unfortunately SF cant get anything out of that.
