BSOD when trying to install game, error 0x03d

    Attachment included.

Edit: Appreciate any help. From my own messing, I think I know what's potentially causing it (marvel?), but I've no idea how to fix it.

    Hello DSRomer.

Apparently the BSOD is caused by Marvell 91xx SATA 6G Controller driver.
    Code:
    BugCheck 3D, {fffff80004d9cf60, 0, 0, fffff8800116078e}

*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for mv91xx.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for mv91xx.sys
    Probably caused by : mv91xx.sys ( mv91xx+3178e )

    Followup: MachineOwner
    ---------
And the driver is old enough.
    Code:
    fffff880`0112f000 fffff880`011bb000 mv91xx T (no symbols)
        Loaded symbol image file: mv91xx.sys
        Image path: mv91xx.sys
        Image name: mv91xx.sys
        Timestamp: Fri Aug 27 15:19:22 2010 (4C778A22)
        CheckSum: 00050BB0
        ImageSize: 0008C000
        Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4
Marvell Storage controllers are always problematic. Uninstall it from Conreol panel> Programs and Features. Then follow Drivers - Clean Left over Files after Uninstalling to get rid of the leftovers.

    Do two more things .....

    Let us know the results.

Thanks for the response. I followed all your instructions apart from that last step regarding updating the firmware for the crucial M4, mainly because I didn't know which one to select and it said it might erase the information on the SSD. Also, I've never had issues installing onto the SSD, only the regular hard drive.

Anyway, the other steps seem to have solved the problem. I've finished installing and I've had zero issues and no crash dumps.

    Thanks for your help.
