Windows 7: Memory_management bsod

Well I am in the middle of "Re-Imaging" my computer to the backup I made earlier on my external Hard Drive...I have a feeling I picked a bad time to do this tonight (this is probably going to take a while).

It wouldn't even boot it would try to load windows and blue screen, did that 3 or 4 times then I tried safe mode but it wouldn't go to safe mode. So I threw the windows 7 disc in and I'm restoring to the backup I made earlier today...hopefully I'll be up and running soon...and hopefully I did it right because you made it sound like I would simply be using the "system restore" method which wasn't readily available...it prompted me to reimage the disc only. I'm getting very frustrated

Yeah I'm back on the PC and all of the dumps are gone. Could you perhaps give me a little more detail about what to do once my computer is BSODing/rebooting in an endless loop? I tried going to safe mode (one time only, probably could have tried a few more times) but the screen would just go black and it would reboot and prompt me to repair windows.

Probably was a bad time to re-image.
Try a clean install - if it still gives problems during the installation, then it's most likely a hardware issue. Since repeated memory tests haven't revealed an issue, I'd have to wonder about the other hardware components.

Here's a guide for a bootable hard drive test: HD Diagnostic
Beyond that it's time to start ripping out parts to see if you can isolate the problem that way.

Well there was no problem during the re-image and so far I'm good. I'm gonna wait til the next blue screen, and then I have an idea. When I was in Verifier, there was only 6 or 7 drivers listed not under Microsoft. I'm considering just stressing 1 at a time until I find out which one it is.

There's different ways to use Verifier depending upon the errors that you're getting.
I'm not knowledgeable enough to figure all of them out - so I use the shotgun approach and run all the tests.

Eventually you'll have tested all of the non-Microsoft drivers. If that doesn't nail it down, then start on the Microsoft drivers. They are much less likely to be at fault, but it's still possible that they could be a problem.

Good luck!

I haven't solved the problem yet, I've left things alone since I've had papers due this past week. I may take an in depth look tomorrow as I have free time finally.

If I get locked out of windows again, how to I "edit the registry offline" so I can know how to do that beforehand so I'm not left computer-less?
