Temp is getting too hot after a few seconds of running Intel Burn Test. Core 1 went up to 84 degs!
The overclocked motherboard bundle was purchased from Scan, I think I'll call them tomorrow as I can't tinker with the bios (warranty) without speaking to them first.
I would definitely ask if you could set it to the default clock speeds.
I emailed them and they replied with lots of questions and things to try. One of them was to revert back to default clock speeds and the other was Memtest.
I ran Memtest overnight and have picked up loads of errors. I am awaiting a reply and will keep you updated.
That could indicate problems with either the motherboard or the RAM, I would run MemTest86+ on all the sticks individually for least 9-10 passes, but see what they say first.
Ran a few different Memtest+ today. Tried individual sticks and different slots. Results were... 1 stick faulty in all slots. Other stick passed. Have been running the system today on just 1 stick and no Bluescreen.
The RAM stick is most likely faulty, does it have any return policy or warranty?
Quick update on this...
Memory stick was faulty. Replacement received, installed and tested - no errors.
I have still been encountering bluescreen's and found it was the overclock settings. Vcore has now been increased and I am currently testing stability. Last night I was gaming for 2 hours which is the longest I have been on with no BSOD.
That's good to know, thanks for the update, please keep me informed :)
