Well what i did this morning i tried the risk took the 64Bit windows CD and performed a clean installation with the good ram stick on channel 1 and honestly it is still working great with one stick
No Errors No blue screens sofar not acting wierd like lagging just doing fine hope it will keep it that way then i know for 100% sure i need a new RAM Kit
On the way of the right decision, but not using the right procedure. Better you opt for memtest, so that you can discriminate the issue between a failing RAM or a failing motherboard's DIMM slot.
Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.
First run it with all the existing/installed RAM modules. If it comes with no error, all is good.
But if it starts showing errors, Stop testing. Errors/red lines means one or more RAM is faulty. But the fault may occur due to a faulty DIMM slot, too, which is a motherboard component. Using memtest86+, you can discriminate between a faulty RAM and a faulty motherboard.
How? Say you have two RAM sticks and two DIMM slots. You obtained errors at the test with all RAM sticks installed. Now, remove all the sticks but one. Test it in all the available slots, one by one. Continue the same procedure for all the available sticks.
How to make the inference that is it a RAM issue or it is a motherboard issue? Suppose you have got the result like that:

mines like the picture above RAM1 bad on both slots RAM2 good on both slots
ill just keep the good stick in Channel 1 for a week to see if my 64bit crashes now if it stays stable now i will get a new KIT
You ran Memtest and got several hundred errors with 1 stick. You already know you need new ram. There is no question about that. The only question is if there are other problems as well. Plus, right now you are running your ram in single chanel mode with only 1 stick. Your computer will perform much better in dual chanel mode. There is no question that the ram needs replacing.
I will mark the thread as solved and when my new kit arrives if i have any problems i will start a new thread
