A stop 0x116 (and stop 0x117) is a display/graphics related BSOD. It occurs due to various reasons, but the crash dump shows the display driver as the error, as it fails at the end. Inadequate power supply is a very frequent cause of such a BSOD. If the adapter is not working properly, there is fair chance that such a BSOD may occur.
