I'll see what I can do about posting what you asked for. I'm running a SamSung 840 120GB ssd which I installed with fresh install of win 7 pro last week. I wonder why it showed up as a spinner? Thanks! :)
That is strange as I pulled up your specs last night and it showed a WD 360GB spinner hence me asking.

You said too that you used the first two slots just so I have it right usually with a four slot board the sticks are required to go in alternate slots ie 1 & 3 or 2 &4 depends on the board manufactures specs. My Asus for example uses 2 & 4 as the primary slots. As you say try each stick in each slot separately or together there are lots of combos.

Now as for the slots to clean them use a strip of old credit card about 1/2 inch wide nip the corners off one end hold a piece of thin lint free cloth over the end dab on some form of alcohol - iso propyl alcohol (what we swab the skin with before an injection) is good and GENTLY swipe along the slots.
This can also be done for the GPU slot/s.

Well, this board has to have 2 sticks of memory at a time or all four. What I did was remove the first two sticks I bought first and put the newest sticks in their spot which is what's required if using only two sticks. I ran the memtest all the way through the first pass without a single error before, I had 100 or more errors in 5 minutes or less. I'll do more isolating to find out if it's one of the two sticks or, a slot in the morning. I think I might as well just go ahead and replace all the memory if the slots are all good. I was getting so flustered a while ago I didn't know which end was up or which was down. Thanks for all your help!
    Hello p5200,

    Thanks for the update:)

    While scanning your RAM sticks per DIMM slot please do look out for this;

Suppose you have got the result like that:
No code has to be inserted here. It is a RAM, a bad RAM.

But if you have got a result like that:
No code has to be inserted here. It is a motherboard issue. The particular slot is bad.

If you are going to replace the RAM please do be sure that you will replace the correct one. Also, are those RAM sticks still withing their warranty? You could RMA them if they are.

Have you already had the time to run Furmark and SeaTools?

Good luck and keep us posted,

Yes Nommy I saw that and am thinking that p5200 had the sticks perhaps in the wrong slots as well.(configuration wise) as well but as you say I think the sticks or one of them at least is kaput.

Good morning folks, Yeah I should have been more clear when I said first two slots I was talking about slots 2&4. I went back and changed my system specs to what they are now at least I hope I did I'll take another look though to be sure though I have a habit of forgetting to do that when I change components. Thank you folks for all your kind help! Oh, and that credit card trick is pretty neat I'll have to clean those too before I install new ram. :)

Ah, I almost missed this question too! The RAM is either 4 or 5 years old so I'll probably just replace all four sticks. I do want to replace one of the working sticks with each one, of the two I pulled just to make sure it's a RAM problem and not a slot. Darn, I've been saving for a new motherboard and processor but, looks like that will have to wait now. But, my birthday is next month and I think my wife and daughter are going to get me the motherboard at least I'll have it to look at for a while. Well, time for morning meds Cheers!

p5200 I see you are on your way of getting fixed. Good to see.

Just a reminder getting 4 matching modules of ram all bought at the same time from the same seller has always worked best for me.

I hope I didn't miss anyone for their rep points because all of you have helped me very much. Correct me if there is something else, I'm missing on the right side cause I'm real good at that!
