It could be bad video memory, or some bad connections/solder on the graphics PCB. Who knows? As far as I know, if a clean reinstall and various drivers didn't help, it can't be software - it must be hardware or firmware (i.e. BIOS).

Alright thanks. Any method to find out what the actual issue is, or should I just bring it to a repair shop?
Still no screenflashes/blackouts. Makes me wonder if it's actually a bad solder, because I did move around the laptop while trying to find out what the issue is. |

Well, have you ever been into your BIOS setup?
You could try resetting the BIOS to factory defaults (even if you haven't been to your BIOS before). |
