BSOD at random times just after boot

As the title says, on my laptop running windows7 home premium I get a Bsod shortly after booting up it occurs at different points e.g just after "start Windows normally" or just after it loads windows files. Also each Bsod is different with the last one being oral not less or equal and others being 0x000000f4.

to give more context my laptop is 3 years old and in recent times I use it almost daily and it started getting Bsod randomly this morning.

0xF4 crashes are very, very commonly caused by a failing hard drive or some other issue with disk I/O. Given that it's occurring very early in Windows startup I feel that's very likely. Is it just as unstable if you enter Safe Mode (tap F8 before Windows logo)? If not, use that opportunity to run our BSOD data collection app and send us the results so we can look at it. At the very least you should give us the crashdumps in C:\Windows\Minidump directory, provided they exist.

If you can't do the data collection, at least next time when you get an 0xF4 crash, record the 4 args of the bugcheck, which are the 4 hex numbers in parentheses next to the 0xF4 bugcheck code. It's not much, but it can give a hint to what's happening.

Just to reply about the safe mode, yes it is exactly the same in safe mode and it will blue screen before loading anything after selecting safe mode

If that's the case, it rules out a lot of 3rd party drivers, almost all of them. I have a feeling your situation is not exempt from the common rule about these 0xF4 bugchecks, in that your hard drive is dying. My first recommendation is to use another computer to burn a UBCD, open Parted Magic in it, then use that environment to start backing up stuff onto another drive like an external drive of some sort. Even if this doesn't actually end up being a case with a bad hard drive, the risk is high in that the chances are high that it is, so it's best to prepare for such a possibility.

You can also use UBCD to run diagnostics on your hard drive like with Seatools basic tests. However, make sure to backup before running these tests!!! The tests can place stress on your drive that may send it over the edge and kill it if it's already in a bad state, so backup first! Also, the tests are not 100% guarantee that it'll find problems with the drive. If it does, great! It means the drive is dead. If it doesn't, don't assume the drive is still good.
