Kernel Power 41 events are a superset, and a BSOD is a subset. A BSOD can cause a Kernel Power 41 event, or may not.

    Attachment 287718

So, there are some BSODs which dont cause this event. Some BSODs cause it, and some of those events are not BSODs. That is the relationship between these two.

    Well that didn't take long...
Attached is latest zip that contains actual dump file
Still would like to know your opinion about relationship between Kernel Power 41 events and BSOD

The BSOD is caused Intel(R) 82579V Gigabit Network Connection driver.
    Code:
    BugCheck 1E, {ffffffffc000001d, fffff8800edcc2e0, 0, 0}

*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for e1c62x64.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for e1c62x64.sys
    Probably caused by : e1c62x64.sys ( e1c62x64+26583 )

    Followup: MachineOwner
    ---------
Try to find an update from https://downloadcenter.intel.com/default.aspx.

    Also, Uninstall AVG.
    Code:
    fffff880`0edcd4c8 fffff880`011c1a51Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\avgtdia.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for avgtdia.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for avgtdia.sys
     avgtdia+0x9a51
Use Revo Uninstall Freeware in Advanced mode to uninstall AVG and all its leftovers. Otherwise the leftovers will cause equal issues there.

Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.
Download, install and update those, and then run full system scans with both of them, one by one.

I would suggest you to uninstall Juniper WSAM. It is also failing.
    Code:
    fffff880`0edcd468 fffff880`01c5cba9Unable to load image \??\C:\Windows\system32\Drivers\NEOFLTR_7110_21187.SYS, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for NEOFLTR_7110_21187.SYS
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for NEOFLTR_7110_21187.SYS
     NEOFLTR_7110_21187+0x8ba9
Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known BSOD causer. Uninstall the program at first. Then download SPTD standalone installer from Disk-Tools.com, and execute the downloaded file as guided below :

    • Double click to open it.
    • Click this button only:
    • If it is grayed out, as in the picture, there is no more SPTD in your system, and you just close the window.

Free up the startup. Windows does not need any other program to auto start with it, but the auto start programs often conflicts and causes various problems including BSODs.

    1. Click on the Start button
    2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
    3. Select the “Startup” tab.
    4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
    5. Apply > OK
    6. Accept then restart.

    Let us know the results.

    Hi Arc
I'm working on your punch list
    A few questions..

    1. I downloaded Revo but do not see AVG to uninstall
    2. I purchased MBAM. I assume that is an acceptable alternative to the free version?
    3. I use software that requires Juniper for work. Is there a work around?

    1. It may be. The free version sees only the 32 bit installers. You try the traditional method then, which is recommended by AVG also. Unfortunaqtely, this method may leave leftover files, whih will continue the issue perhaps.

    2. Paid MBAM is not a necessary :) The free version is enough efficient on demand scanner. But as you have the paid license, well and good. Use it :)

    3. Well, I dont have very sound idea about Juniper. I just noticed that it is causing the BSODs. If it is a must to have, you have to accept the BSODs caused by it :)

If you have any more questions about the issue, feel free to ask :)

    Hi Arc
As you can see from zip file, I no longer have BSOD issues
I still have daily Kernel Power 41 events
In terms of Juniper WSAM I have it on an identical computer at work that is totally stable so I think that ranks lower on the list of possible causes
I have done everything else you recommended (except that I removed AVG with their utility because I did not want to spend the $ for the pro version of Revo)
What would you recommend at this point to troubleshoot my Kernel Power 41 event issue?

Mate I dont know about any other computer. But as you can see, juniper is failing on this particular computer under discussion.

Sorry to say, but if the crasher is present there, it will crash.

We all do it coz we like to do it, not to earn money :) But thanks for your proposal.

I earn much more than that I do ever need. No need for any more :)

If your issue is solved, that will be enough of our pleasure.
