    I think you should go for at least a Repair Install, though a Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 is a better option.

    No BSOD over last 8 days .....

    As there are no more BSODs, it continues the previous the status to me. We have noticed that program causes sleep related issues a few more times.

    Upgrade installation solved the issue. CfosSpeed had nothing to do with it.
    Still I cannot change to shut hybrid sleep while plugged in, thus cannot hibernate using "software commands" while plugged in.
