    I think you should go for at least a Repair Install, though a Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 is a better option.

    As there are no more BSODs, it continues the previous the status to me. We have noticed that program causes sleep related issues a few more times.

    Upgrade installation solved the issue. CfosSpeed had nothing to do with it.
    Still I cannot change to shut hybrid sleep while plugged in, thus cannot hibernate using "software commands" while plugged in.

Been having consistent BSOD with my Sony Vaio VGN-SR590 w/ Win7 Pro x64. Have run multiple malware, anti-virus and ad-ware scans. No help. Symptoms include failure to sleep, hibernate or shut down without BSOD. Any help would be appreciated. Latest dump attached.

Hi, Recently (last 2 weeks) my computer has started to BSOD, at first i thought these were as a result of using DC++ as they only seemed to happen when downloading with DC++ but now they seem to happen at random. I'm not sure if the previous BSOD's had the same "Driver_Power_State_Failure" error...
