BSOD and freezing while in Firefox

I have been getting multiple BSOD and computer freezing and my logitech mouse stops working or the arrow disappears. These problems all started after a hard drive crash. I had to rebuild my system with a backup that was 1 year old. I thought some of the BSOD were being cause by my motherboards USB 3.0 driver which I tried to update. I finally disabled the driver and installed an ORICO PCIe USB 3.0 Card. Since then I have had the problems mentioned at the beggining of the post. As I was getting the BSOD before the card was installed I'm not sure how to proceed.

I got another BSOD today. BTW do I want a Kernel Memory Dump or a Small Memory Dump?

As per the data you uploaded, the latest BSOD was occurred in 2011.

Follow it: Dump Files - Configure Windows to Create on BSOD
Go to Option Two, Point 2. Download the .reg file and merge it in registry by double clicking it.

Now wait for another BSOD. When it occurred, search the .dmp files manually in the default path: C:\Windows\Minidump or %SystemRoot%\Minidump. See if the crash dump is recorded or not (hopefully it will be recorded).Post it following the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions.

I was downloading a large file to my Samsung USB 3.0 connected to my Orico USB 3.0 PCIe card, while continuing to surf the net. My computer froze no BSOD. Acronis is also setup to write to this external drive on Saturdays. I'm wondering if the problem is with the USB 3.0 card/driver? Can any info be gotten from my system freeze or do I need to have a BSOD?

You are using two different USB3 utilities.
FrescoLogic: FLxHCIc.sys : Update from FRESCO LOGIC INC.===Leap into SuperSpeed===
Renesas: nusb3xhc.sys : Update from Station-Drivers - Renesas/Nec.

Also, update realtek network driver from Realtek
And, What is Jaksta? Can you uninstall it, at least as a test?

See if it changes anything there or not. And let us know what is the antivirus that you use.

I was in the process of updating the drivers when I got a BSOD before rebooting.
NEC/Renesas 2.1.39 10/17/2012 latest already and I had disabled this driver when I got the new USB 3.0 card in case it was the problem.
Fresco 3.5.93.0->3.5.100.0
was downloaded RealTek HD Audio codec drivers but not installed yet when the system cashed.

Previously installed the reg file to get the dump file but I don't think one was recorded. Here is the zip file.

I was thinking of waiting to uninstall Jaksta. If I get another BSOD after the driver updates I will try that next.

Can you explain why you would use the manufactures drivers vs the ones from the MB manufacturer? I'm noticing they are newer but is there any downside?

The downside is that the motherboard drivers are older, and thus if there are any problems with those driver versions, then you won't be able to download any newer drivers with the bug fixes.

With the registry file have you merged it into the registry?

Your Acronis Try&Decide Volume Filter Driver seems to be causing problems, please check for updated version of the program or remove the program completely.

Is there a downside to using drivers from the manufacturer and not the MB recommended drivers?
I believe I double clicked on the REG file and it said imported into the registry. Looking at my screen grab is it still possilbe that windows is not set to do a small dump file?
I think I will try to unistall Acronis and see how thinks go as I'm concerned about that being the source.

Have you had any more BSODs after changing the dump file configuration settings?

The motherboard drivers are usually always outdated, my HP support page only has drivers for AMD from 2011.

The hardware vendor is usually always recommended, unless your using a OEM computer like Dell, Acer or HP etc. where sometimes the drivers have been modified to work specifically with that model.

Mine is a generic computer so I guess the most recent manufactures drivers are best.
The last post 1-10-13 was from a BSOD after changing the reg setting. It appears that that didn't get the system to write the dump files. Is there anything else I can do to make it write the dump files.
