Random Bsod 0x000000d1

Hi there, I have recently reformatted my PC and started having bsod issues. It can happen once in a week or twice in a day. Happens at any moment, doesn't matter what I am doing. Below is the mini dump file.

Get rid of intel rapid storage.

1. Right click on "my computer" icon and click "manage" on the context menu.
2. It will open the "computer management" window.
3. Select "Device Manager" in the left pane, It will list all the existing devices up.
4. Expand "Disc Drives" by clicking on the triangle in front of it.
5. Select one item under it, right click, uninstall.
6. Continue the process for all items under "Disc Drives"
7. Now restart the computer. At restart, windows will auto configure the appropriate system driver, msahci.sys.

Please run these tests and report back the results

I have deleted all of the devices and restarted the computer which it re-installed all of the drivers. I have deleted IRST from the control panel and set my bios back to default. I have completed and passed the 5 test you gave with no errors. The bsod's are more frequent now and even a couple times a day. Here are some recent one's. I hope we can fix this so I don't have to re-install windows since I just did it less than a month ago.

koolkat77's diagnosis is 100% right here, the issue is intel rapid storage driver.

But, the problem is, it is set as SCSI/RAID mode.

So you need to disable it in the BIOS.
You need to disable Intel Rapid Storage in the BIOS and set the storage controller mode to AHCI mode.

Here comes the problem. As windows is installed as SCSI mode, it will refuse to boot up when it is changed to anything else.

So the next thing is to perform a clean install with AHCI mode. Follow Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 to get a perfect reinstall and to maximize windows native performance.

Hopefully it will do the trick.

Let us know how everything goes.

Edit: Also make it sure that the SSDs (Intel and Samsung) are running with the up-to-date firmware.

The reason for the reformat this month was because I needed the bios to be set to raid. I have to have my raid setup for the write speeds for recording. Also there are many folks out there with no issues running raid so it has to be something going on in my computer. I am getting ready again to reformat and am now downloading all of the updated drivers for everything I have including updating the bios version. Is there anything I need to know or should do before I reformat. I just want to make sure I am not missing anything because I hate having to reinstall windows.

Crashed again. It's getting worse and worse as each day goes by. Well I have everything ready to reformat so I guess it's time. My only question is, when installing windows it will prompt me for the raid drivers when set to raid in the bios. I did this last time but this time I want to use different one. Do you know which one I should use.

I have updated the bios and now I will see if that makes a difference before i reformat. Will update when needed.
