BSOD after Windows Logo

Hey guys...
So my sister's laptop crashed after she started some game she didn't play in ages (Sims). It won't load the windows after the Windows logo. Only a BSOD. I can't go into safe mode, also I tried to restore to some restore point via the Windows Recovery which I can access.

Any ideas? I don't want to reinstall the Windows.
It can't be a virus because she never downloads anything and that game worked perfectly a few months back when she played it.

Its an Asus Ultrabook UX31E.

What is the bugcheck code you're getting?

Follow this tutorial and select Disable Automatic Restart on System Failure that way it won't restart
right away and you can snap a picture of the BSOD.

0xF4 is usually storage related, but seeing it's an SSD it only makes diagnosing more complicated.
Is that the only bugcheck code you're getting?
Can you maybe share some more information about what led up to the crash?
Did the PC had any issue (as small as they might seem) in the past?

First I would salvage the files regardless of the end outcome.
Follow this tutorial to save your files and get the dump files at the same chance.

C:\Windows\Minidump\*.dump

Upload all available dumps.

If that is the only bugcheck you're facing and once all important data is backed up.
I would try a repair install.

Unfortunately not , ***dump.sys are drivers which are being accessed during a crash dump
to enable access to the disk during the bugcheck.

You didn't answer my question about the bugcheck codes, is that the only one?
Have you backed up your data regardless?
Has anything changed?
