Seeking BSOD Assistance With MiniDump File Only

    Seeking BSOD & "Test Mode Win7 Build 7601" Assistance


    MiniDump zip file attached.

    My BSOD is happening 1-2 times a day and always once between 5 & 9 AM when the PC is unattended.

    EDIT 10/12/2013: I was finally able to complete the SF Diagnostic Tool scan. Zip file is in post #5 below.

    Please see "Test Mode Windows 7 Build 7601" questions in post #3 below.

    My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit,16GB memory.

    Hello :) .
    The dump is pretty corrupt but there seems to be something with an old realtek driver.

    As directed I installed the above Realtek driver in Repair mode and all went well. It's been two days now without a BSOD, fingers crossed!


    I have "Test Mode", Windows7, Build 7601 displayed in the lower right of my monitor screen (I did not activate it):

    1. Could this have a bearing on my BSOD and corrupted Realtek driver problems?

    2. Is there any risk to my PC by leaving it in "Test Mode"?

    3. If I turn "Test Mode" off and my PC becomes unbootable how would I recover from that?

    4. Is there any way to find drivers on my PC that may rely on this "Test Mode"?

    5. Under the circumstances, what should I do about the Test Mode" setting?

    There is a considerable doubt as to whether your installation of Windows is genuine or not.

    The motherboard appears to be a Retail one - but you have a Product ID indicating an OEM_SLP Key from a different manufacturer of board. If this is the case, then the installation is counterfeit, and enabled by a hacker's Activation Exploit, and it would be pointless (not to mention against for rules) for us to attempt to fix other problems.

    How did you acquire this Windows License??


    Please followthis tutorial and post an MGADiag report - then we can see what the problem is.

    My PC is a ZT brand purchased new by me from the MEGA Costco retail organization in the USA. I seriously doubt that I have a bootleg copy of Windows installed and I have not altered or changed the Windows OS (except for Microsoft updates) since purchasing this PC. I have owned this PC for about 3 years and the "Test Mode" watermark showed up about 6 months ago.

    The COA sticker on my PC reads: Microsoft; Windows 7 Home Prem OA; ZT Group; OF-00854; Product Key:; bar code; what appears to be serial number.

    This PC also came with a Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium installation DVD "For Distribution Only With a New ZT PC" printed on it.

    This PC was purchased new from a MAJOR retailer, I have to believe my Windows license is authentic.

    My PC skills are quite limited. I don't want to run the risk of bricking my PC by trying to jump thru a lot of Microsoft hoops above my skill level to prove to them that I have a licensed product. My PC came with lifetime ZT technical support, if need be is there something I can get from them that will satisfy you?

    In that case, I reckon it's genuine - it's just that up until now, all the ZT motherboards that I/we have seen have been manufactured by MSI, rather than Gigabyte.

    Please run the MGADiag report and post the results anyhow - I'd like to learn the telltales on that one! (but if you'd rather not, I understand)

    Thanks for accepting my explanation.

    I have read in some cases that running the MGADiag report has led to problems so I am going to respectfully decline.

    Can you provide any assistance with my questions in post #3 in this thread?
