Thank you, but my driver is up-to-date. However, I did some research and it appears that intel wifi adapters are known to cause BSOD and INTEL has done nothing to improve the situation. So I might need to switch to atheros
Where did you check for the driver update? Please note that Windows Update doesn't usually have up to date drivers. You have to check the manufacturer's website (i.e. https://downloadcenter.intel.com/default.aspx).
