uninstall all your network adapter drivers from the Device manager.

    1. Right click on "my computer" icon and click "manage" on the context menu.
    2. It will open the "computer management" window.
    3. Select "Device Manager" in the left pane, It will list all the existing devices up.
    4. Expand "Display Adapters" by clicking on the triangle in front of it.
    5. Select the Intel item under it, right click, Disable.

It will disable the graphics adapter there.

Because of the optimous settings. It uses the dedicated graphics only in need and otherwise it uses the onboard one.

You have disable onboard graphics in BIOS and then perform a clean install.

Seems like there is no way to switch off IntelR3000 card without consequence. There is no option in BIOS to do that.

The onboard graphics driver is not very old.
