Windows 7 Professional 32-bit

"If you perform a clean installation with RAID disabled and AHCI enabled + minus Comodo, you can expect a crash free computer, hopefully. " How do I disable RAID and enable AHCI? I never enabled RAID. I do not know how uninstalling Comodo will prevent future BSODs. The Comodo drivers are not being loaded on my system, so they cannot be causing BSODs.

It is taking a shape of arguments and counter arguments. Our intention was not to argue with you, but to help you to get you rid of your issue.

Anyway, as you are visually denying to accept the suggestions, I have nothing more to do here. Unsubscribing from your thread.

Wish you will be able to stop the BSOD. All the best.

Windows 7 Professional 32-bit

What I did this evening: I downloaded MicrosoftFixit50470.msi per Error message occurs after you change the SATA mode of the boot drive , and I ran it. The Registry was updated. Then I changed the BIOS: "SATA Configuration" from "IDE" to "AHCI"; there was no "RAID" setting available, so I was never using RAID. I rebooted, and drivers were installed:

ATA Channel 1 Ready to use
WDC WD3200KS-00PFB0 ATA Device Finished, restart required
ATA Channel 4 Ready to use
ATA Channel 0 Ready to use
Standard AHCI.1.0 Serial ATA Controller Finished, restart required
ATA Channel 5 Finished, restart required

Then I rebooted. I will wait and see what happens.
