BSOD Firefox/ Win Live Mail, error 0x00000101

    Hello,

I hope you can help me out here. Like 2 months ago the BSODs started. At first only when I used Firefox and for about one week even when Windows Live Mail is running (in most cases Firefox was open though - if not everytime). Most of the time they happen while typing and moving the mouse around, especially when some buttons are highlighted within those programs, or while doing stuff on Facebook, starting videos on Youtube (and thus highlighting the play-button), etc.

I'm able to play games without any problems at all. Witcher 2, Anno 2070, whatever: They all cause no problems. Other utilities don't seem to be affected, though Firefox and Windows Live Mail are the tools I use most of the time. BSODs may happen within a few minutes after booting, though there are time-consuming sessions (hours!), where there are no BSODs at all.

I recently updated the RealTek drivers and the BIOS of my mainboard in hope to get rid of those BSODs. Using the utility BlueScreenView most of my recent BSODs point to "ntoskrnl.exe+75bc0"

Well, I will just upload the SF Diagnostic zip file and hope you can help me. Thanks in advance ... if there are any more questions - please don't mind asking :)

    Welcome :) .
All of the bug checks are 0x101, unfortunately this bug check code doesn't contain enough
information in the minidump file be analyzed fully.

Please upload the Kernel dump file using Dropbox or Skydrive, the file is located in the Windows directory
and is usually a few hundred Megabytes in size.
    Code:
    C:\Windows\MEMORY.dmp
Before you start uploading the file, please update your Ethernet driver:
    Code:
    lmvm Rt64win7
        Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\Rt64win7.sys
        Image name: Rt64win7.sys
        Timestamp: Wed Jun 01 06:15:51 2011

No code has to be inserted here.

Hope this works ... I installed the RealTek driver as you mentioned. I just could repair the old one, it worked I think. New time stamp is 08/ 2013

    And thanks again :)

    Install the 314.22 WHQL only.

    • Uninstall All nvidia items in Control Panel > Programs and features
      • 3D Vision Control Driver
      • 3D Vision Driver
      • Graphics Driver
      • HD Audio Driver
      • PhysX
      • nvidia Update

(Are you using nvidia chipset drivers? If so, dont uninstall anything other than those are listed).
    • Now follow Drivers - Clean Left over Files after Uninstalling
    • Boot normally now. Download 314.22 WHQL. While installing, Select Custom (Advanced) install. In the next page, follow this settings:

    • Uninstall DAEMON Tools Lite from the Add/Remove Programs. | → then type appwiz.cpl and press the Enter key. After the reboot follow the quote below to verify its removal.

    Code:
    Start Menu\Programs\DAEMON Tools Lite

Download SPTD standalone installer from Disk-Tools.com, and execute the downloaded file as guided below :

    • Double click to open it.
    • Click this button only:
    • If it is grayed out, as in the picture, there is no more SPTD in your system, and you just close the window.
After all of the above is completed, please upload a new instance of the MSINFO32 file:

Start → Run → Type MSINFO32 then hit [Enter].
In MSINFO32 go to, File> Save> name it your user-name.
Once the file is saved right click it and choose Sent toCompressed (zipped) folder.

Attach the file in your next post.

Your USB3.0 Drivers are of a somewhat problematic version (2010)
and may or may not prove to be an issue. I would like you to update them but the Renesas website
is a complete mess and requires registration to be able download so we will tackle them if we would have to.
    Code:
    lmvm nusb3xhc

        Loaded symbol image file: nusb3xhc.sys
        Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\nusb3xhc.sys
        Image name: nusb3xhc.sys
        Timestamp: Fri Nov 19 03:34:25 2010

    lmvm nusb3hub

        Loaded symbol image file: nusb3hub.sys
        Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\nusb3hub.sys
        Image name: nusb3hub.sys
        Timestamp: Fri Nov 19 03:34:24 2010
    Keep us posted.

    Hello again,

first of all: Thanks for your kind help! Cannot tell you how grateful I am. :)

So, I uninstalled Avira, as you mentioned - couldn't stand it anyway, because it tended to put aggressive pop-ups on my screen now and then. I think my system boots a lot faster, just because changing to your alternative.

I changed to the NVIDIA drivers you emphasized and hope I didn't make any mistakes. So you believe you just uninstall a driver and everythings fine ... well, learned a lesson here.

Next I kicked the Demons Tools + SPTD ... didn't need them anyway.

Finally I attached the info file you wanted. Please tell me if there's anything more I can do. I don't mind to register on a website just to get a driver. It's better than having to buy a new piece of hardware 'cause the BSODs turn out not to be software-related.

Quick question: I regularly use "CCleaner" ... do you think that's okay, or should I uninstall it, too?

Thanks for the update, everything seems to be in order :) .
As for the USB3.0 drivers, to tell you the truth I couldn't find them I spent a good 15min on the subject ..
That is what I meant by the site being a complete and utter mess.
I check the Gigabyte's webpage and you are using the latest they offer, so we'll have to see how things play-out.

CCleaner is generally considered OK but I would take it with a grain of salt, I don't use any software of that type . But do consider one thing! Don't use it while we are debugging the system as it disposes of dump files which we need .
