    Windows 7 Ntoskrnl.exe crash

My HP pavillion pc has crashed more than 10x in the last couple of weeks. I just restarted it after its 3rd crash today. I have no idea what to do to prevent the blue screen crashes caused by ntoskrnl.exe. I have tried restoring the system to earlier dates and even downloaded ccleaner to run a system cleanup but nothing seems to help. Any simple and non technical solutions please?

The errors are being caused by "Lollipop.exe" which appears to be malware associated with adware. If it is malware, it's known to install a root kit and run from boot so restores won't help. I'll try to get one of the AV gurus to take a look.

Here's some info passed along from several others that may help. Start with these then get back.

Please scan for possible infection and file corruption.
