    BSOD Randolmly shuts me down.

Every once and a while, usually when my computer has been on for long, I get the BSOD and my computer shuts down no idea why... here is the requested file.

Also a screen shout of the error.

I really have no idea what to do. So any assistance would be much appreciated.

    Hi amcdermot.

The BSOD is USB related. So better you disconnect all the USB devices other than the keyboard/mouse on a test basis. If the keyboard/mouse uses any third party driver, update those.

Upload the list of all the third party drivers Using NirSoft DriverView :

    • Download and execute Driverview
    • View > Hide Microsoft Drivers
    • Edit > Select all
    • File > Save Selected Items
    • In the Save dialog, Set the path to desktop, Put "Driverview" in the name field, and save.
    • Zip the .txt file and upload it.

And turn USB Selective Suspend off. USB Selective Suspend - Turn On or Off

    Let us know the results.

First of all thank you for helping me, I really need it.

So I did what you said. I unplugged all USB besides mouse/keyboard.
I ran the Driverview and uploaded the ZIP file to this post.
And I turned off selective suspend...

What should I do now? Thank you

Upload the zip again, and this time make it sure that you are doing the second step.

Oh I'm sorry I forgot to do that. I did it this time in the new upload.

Well, now I can say that I am suspecting Pluralinput Keyboard and mouse for the BSODs.
    Both of them are running.

No code has to be inserted here.

But both of them are showing in the top of teh big list of unloaded modules.
    Code:
    Unloaded modules:
    fffff880`09400000 fffff880`0941b000 USBSTOR.SYS
    fffff880`09598000 fffff880`095a3000 pimou.sys
    fffff880`05b89000 fffff880`05b94000 pikbd.sys
    fffff880`05b62000 fffff880`05b7b000 HIDCLASS.SYS
    fffff880`05b54000 fffff880`05b62000 hidusb.sys
    fffff880`05b7b000 fffff880`05b89000 kbdhid.sys
    fffff880`0958b000 fffff880`09598000 mouhid.sys
Notice the other ones ... all are USB, keyboard and mouse.

I would suggest you to use any other keyboard/mouse and see how it goes there.

This makes a lot of sense... but you see this BSOD happens every now and then for the last 8 months. And over that time period I have had 3 differen sets of mouse and keyboard... So I don't think that would be the problem?

At least for the present BSODs, it is the cause that I am explaining.

For the old ones, it may be something different, and a reasonably old crash dump is not any worthy to analysis, as the things are very dynamic.
