New Rig - BSOD only when gaming - Multiple errors(?).
Hey there.
Just 2 days ago I put together a new build. I entered the specs when registering so I assume you can view them somewhere.
Basically the entire system runs fine - Outside of gaming.
Video - Fine
Music/Audio - Fine
Image processing (PS/Lightroom etc..) - Fine
Firefox - Fine
I had these problems with a fresh Windows install and couldn't find the source problem, so I reinstalled all my drivers, still had the problem. So I decided to do a clean install of Windows last night, still the same problem again after reinstalling windows and opening a game (Batman - Arkham Origins) with literally nothing but Nvidia drivers installed.
Driver verifier was pointing towards my nvidia drivers, however nothing I seemed to do with them solved it.
There doesn't seem to be a problem with memory (memtest ran overnight with no problems)
CPU seems to be operating fine
GPU seems to be operating fine
While I can't tell what exact shape the PSU is in, nothing seems to be underpowered and all the rails seem to be within normal amp range.
Of the games tested.
Batman Arkham Origins crashes after about 10 minutes of playtime - If I fiddle with graphic settings I can get it just to crash to desktop (by disabling DX11 enhanced options and Physx options) , rather than BSOD. However I can play multiplayer fine with no crashes at all.
Chivalry : Medieval Warfare runs fine with no crashes as far as I can see.
Wargame - Airland Battle crashes once multiplayer starts. It's odd, I can play multiplayer for a minute while the game is starting, however when the units begin spawning (game is very CPU intensive), it crashes. However, Single Player runs fine.
Metro 2033 runs fine as far as I can see.
CPU/GPU Screens:
I honestly just can't tell if all of this is due to a software problem or hardware problem. Can anyone help?
Edit to add:
The PSU I have is a Seasonic 620w
Could this be unable to power my setup?
