    ntoskrnl error 0x000000d5 DRIVER_PAGE_FAULT_IN_FREED_SPECIAL_POOL


    Hey All,

    I have a 64bit Asus G75VW laptop with Windows 7 SP1 that blue screens with the following ntoskrnl.exe error:

    0x000000d5 DRIVER_PAGE_FAULT_IN_FREED_SPECIAL_POOL

    I have: uninstalled AVG, run SpinRite and chkdsk to check the hard drive, run sfc /scannow 3 times, run verifier.exe to verify drivers, followed instruction for help in this forum.

    The BSODs are caused by DNE LightWeight Filter (c:\windows\system32\drivers\dnelwf64.sys).

    DNE is usually used by VPN clients. So I would suggest you to update your VPNs. Specially the SonicWALL one.
