BSOD seconds after logging into windows.
my computer just started doing this. Computer works on safe mode. I recently installed some new ram if that is an issue, i have 2x2gb then 2x1gb, they are both ddr2, the 2x2gb is new though.

Hi IB :) .
I believe I know what happened, let me explain what I gathered.
You had a TDR bug check on August 21st, which led you to updating the nVidia driver?
I also see you received an update very recently, so one of those two updated your GPU's driver.
Now an nVidia driver is consistently failing.Code:2013-11-26 08:53:09:031 380 167c Agent * Title = nVidia - Graphics Adapter WDDM1.1, Graphics Adapter WDDM1.2, Graphics Adapter WDDM1.3, Other hardware - NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT
Code:BugCheck D1, {10, 2, 0, fffff88004572686} *** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for nvvad64v.sys *** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for nvvad64v.sys Probably caused by : nvvad64v.sys
As we can see the drivers are the latest.
Log into Safe-Mode (no network), and change nvvad64v's extension from .sys to .old, the file is located in the drivers folder.Code:lmvm nvvad64v start end module name fffff880`04571000 fffff880`0457e000 nvvad64v T (no symbols) Loaded symbol image file: nvvad64v.sys Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\drivers\nvvad64v.sys Image name: nvvad64v.sys Timestamp: Fri Sep 27 23:25:30 2013 3: kd> lmvm nvlddmkm start end module name fffff880`13056000 fffff880`13c97000 nvlddmkm (deferred) Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\nvlddmkm.sys Image name: nvlddmkm.sys Timestamp: Mon Nov 11 15:24:05 2013
Now you should be able to complete a logon into Windows.Code:C:\Windows\System32\drivers
Next follow the quote below to roll-back the driver to a know stable release:
After it is all set and done you may delete the renamed driver.
Post back with the results :).
