    Stuck at Starting Screen (Windows 7)


    Hello,

    I have a PC with Windows 7. A few days ago, it popped a bluescreen and ever since the PC got stuck in Starting Windows Screen, but the sound of Windows initializing is heard. I am able to go to Safe Mode, and the following error was given to me:

    amportugal, welcome to the forums. First try clearing your cmos and reseating your ram and graphics card. Please fill in your system specs and some more help will be offered for your error/BSOD.

    Okay, thanks. I believe the 116 refers to your graphics card and may be a driver issue. There are many BSOD experts here that should chime in soon.

    I've just updated the driver and it still does the BSoD, sometimes.

    Try removing the 550ti, run off the IGPU. Run all windows updates.

    Windows updated, and can't open the PC, still in garantee. What does that mean to run off IGPU?

    The IGPU is the built in graphics in your cpu. Are you doing any overclocking? What game caused the BSOD?

    I suggest you follow the instructions in this thread

    No overclocking and the game is Assassin's Creed IV
