BSOD while in 'hibernate' or 'sleep'

Every single time, I leave my computer to 'hibernate' or 'sleep', it restarts. This has been going on for days. It used to say 'Error: Driver disk failure'. I am not sure if it is the same error now.

    Please help.

    Thank you.

    Hi Eamane.

Can you try to update Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software and Drivers for Windows 7 and let us know the results?

Also free up the startup. Windows does not need any other program to auto start with it, but the auto start programs often conflicts and causes various problems including BSODs.

    1. Click on the Start button
    2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
    3. Select the “Startup” tab.
    4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
    5. Apply > OK
    6. Accept then restart.

    Code:

I have updated the drivers and disabled the startup programs. But it still gives a BSOD and restarts...

    What should I do next?

Description here .... Driver Reference Table - wnmflt64.sys

Uninstall Panda Internet Security. Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.
Download, install and update those, and then run full system scans with both of them, one by one.

Also ... something else is drawing the attention ....

ataport.sys is very vulnerable to a special type of malware called rootkit. Scan the system for possible virus infection with the following programs.

I scanned the computer with the Anti-rootkit and windows defender. There were no problems. I unistalled the virus and did a new install and its okay. There have been no crashes or BSOD for some days.
