BSoD Whenever I Try To Play Any Game
Hello! I have had my Lenovo IdeaPad Y580 for 11 months, and had no problems until June. In June, the laptop would not start at all and I sent it in to be fixed. The laptop came back and everything worked fine until the last 3 months.
In the last three months, I have had some BSoD related to gaming. I would run the game and when it gets to the main menu, the BSoD would hit. I would then restart to make sure that the GTX 660M was detected.
I have the most recent current drivers from NVIDIA the 331.82 for my GTX 660M.
The current BIOS is 5DCN89WW(V8.00).
I used Lenovo Solution Center and ran the hardware scan, and got one failure in the PCI Express check-up. No failures in any other part.
I ran the SF Diagnostic Tool but only got an error for the dxdiag box.
Here's the error code:
I looked through the Windows folder and there is no dxdiag.txt found...?Code:See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file 'C:\Windows\dxdiag.txt'. Well I'll attach the zip without that one part that's giving me errors.
