Driver Power State Failure Daily Strikes (Not in Gaming w/ Nvidia)

My laptop always got an BSOD Driver power state failure everyday.
if my laptop gets a BSOD, it will get chain BSOD for 10-40 minutes. I already reinstall the windows but it didn't resolve the problem, I already update my Windows to SP1 but it didn't resolve the problem too.
I already update the drivers especially the Graphic driver for Intel HD and Nvidia but its still same.
While in gaming (With Nvidia) my laptop never get a BSOD, i'm little confused because if I playing game with Intel HD (Forgot to set the GPU game with Nvidia) it will get a BSOD few minute after the game closed.
Even if my laptop idle for 1-3 Hours it will get the BSOD too.

After my laptop create the dumb file and successful created it my laptop won't restart and will stuck at BSOD Screen so I must hold the power button to turn it off.

Please Help my laptop is suffering this BSOD for almost half a year.

    Here is my Laptop Spec:
    1. Model Acer Aspire V3-471G
    2. Intel Core i5-3210M 2.5GHz
    3. Nvidia GeForce GT 630M w/ 2GB Dedicated VRAM
    4. 4 GB DDR3 Ram
    5. Intel HD Graphics 4000
I'm Appreciate any Replies and Help and Sorry for my bad English.

It appears that the BSOD is occurring while switching graphics between the onboard and dedicated. It happens with nvidia optimus technology, very frequently.

I dont know exactly what to do here, but I am asking for some help from the GPU experts.

But we are seeing SPTD as failing, too; and that is the most frequent BSOD causer.

Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known BSOD causer. Uninstall Daemon Tools at first. Then download SPTD standalone installer from Disk-Tools.com, and execute the downloaded file as guided below :

    • Double click to open it.
    • Click this button only:
    • If it is grayed out, as in the picture, there is no more SPTD in your system, and you just close the window.

Hi there .. Have you tried using the Drivers for Graphic's from the Manufactures website .. They usually work best with switchable Graphics ..

    Acer | Download

For laptops one should always use the manufacturers' drivers only since most are specially modded for the laptop.

have you checked temperatures? Overheating may be doing this. Blow out the vents and use only on a hard surface.
If possible see if your BIOS has a setting for which GPU to use.

I have checked my GPU Temperature. The highest is around 85-90C.
Um My Default GPU is Intel HD, but I change the global setting from integrated to Nvidia GPU.
Its been a year I haven't clean up my GPU fan. so I will clean it if I get some spare time.

Well since Arc suggest me to uninstall the SPDT, the BSOD haven't occurred.
I will wait for 1 week, if my laptop didn't get the BSOD for a week I will Mark this Thread as Solved.

Thank you for all your replies :)
