    Explorer Not Responding

Every time I right click something on my desktop, explorer stops responding and then restarts.

For the first time, it gave me some more information about why it happened, see attachment.

    I am running Windows 7 x64 Ultimate

Ran sfc /scannow and no errors.

Edit: It happens sometimes without me right clicking. For example, I tried to search for something in the search bar in the start menu but explorer stops responding.

Did you try to restart the machine to see if it happens again?

did you install some application that modifies the context menu?

You can use a tool called Process Explorer to see if any funky .dlls are loaded.

Yes I have rebooted, this problem has been going on for a few days and doesn't happen every right click.

See attachment for context menu. I have ShellExView, don't really know how to use it though. Disabled some context menu options but didn't fix the problem.

No clue how to use process explorer. :S

Also, I tried "sfc /scannow" and no errors.

ShellExView can cause this type of problem. Try reinstating any context
items which relate to Explorer and reboot.

This problem started happening before I had ShellExView. I installed ShellExView because I read that this could be a context menu issue and tried it out.

You might be able to provide us some more detailed info if you re-enable Error Reporting. The error message you are currently seeing is the most basic one and all it tells us is memory addresses.

How do I enable error reporting?

This is possibly the simplest and most reliable way to extract the info necessary to understand the crash without too much guesswork:

    Explorer crashing when deleting files

Can't install debug tools, it says my processor is incompatible.
