Using Regedit, you can go to this key

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

    and delete

    Google Quick Search
    Adobe Reader Speed Launcher
    ISUSScheduler
    SunJavaUpdateSched

    I'd uninstall this:

    c:\program files\google\googletoolbarnotifier\googletoolbarnotifier.exe

    .....and also completely uninstall AVG.

Then you will have a system that does not freeze.

(You either have an NVIDIA or ATI addon card. The ATI one isn't working well, so just disable that in the motherboard bios if it's onboard and use the NVIDIA card.)

ok i am back again, and not with any good news, ( i have seein this freezing issues to often in this forum ) i have been monitoring my PC freezing, uninstalled Adobe reader last weekend, and i have left my system on. it ran great for a few days, so i had figured i fixed my problem, so i shut it down over night, thinking i did a great job in finding my issue, and on reboot i monitored it for an while, and after about 2 hours low and behold another system freeze, i am at a lost

    Thanks in advance
