Oddmut, your voltages look OK, Speccy says your graphics card is 74C, which is OK, but I wouldn't want it very much hotter. I am going to assume there are two versions of furmark. Several of us have discussed it among ourselves and that's what we think. In your first picture CPU warning temp, CPU fan fail warning and the others below it should be enabled. They should always be enabled on any computer you have. They will warn you that you are getting too hot before thermal shutdown, or if you have a fan failure. I don't use Hardware Monitor, so I'm not sure what the temp is, but the tempin0 is 53C, but it has been to a high of 82C. I would like you to monitor your temps real close for a few days. Both your CPU temp and your graphics card temp.

Also, could you please fill out your system specs at the bottom of your post or in UserCP at the top of the page.. Your system specs say you have a HD6850 and Speccy says an EVGA 770. It is very helpful to us if we know exactly what hardware we are dealing with. It helps to have that viewable on every post you make. If you have an EVGA card, you can download their Precision X tool and set a custom fan profile to keep the card cooler. It can also be set to have an On Screen Display if you are playing a game and info in the system tray.

A friend asked me to look into this thread.

I have spent a fair bit of time looking at it and also trying to replicate your Furmark screen shots. I have now managed to.

I assume you have had no further crashes since fitting the new GTX 770?

I am going to stick my neck out and say that your card is not showing any artifacts in Furmark and that the root of your crashing problem before was the temperatures on your old 6850 graphics card.

To prove my point I am going to ask you to untick the box in Furmark under settings called "Post FX" and then post a new screen shot with it running for us all.

I have attached a screen shot of the settings. Yours should look the same when you run it again.

No worries Arc :), I have no idea why (for him) Furmark had the "Post-FX" tab ticked.
I have discussed it with Steve and both of our copies of Furmark by Default did NOT have this box ticked.

When the box is ticked it displays the same for me as it does for the OP.

I have attached a screen shot of mine running with Post-FX for comparision.

I'll enable those warning settings, but I have a question. Are these by default disabled because I've never tampered with these settings? I've always left my settings to default.

To read HW Monitor the Value column is the real time temperature, and the min is the minimum temperature the card has reached during the time HW Monitor has been running and max is the maximum temperature the card has reached during the time HW Monitor has been running. I will pay close attention to my temps over the next few weeks.

Sorry about the card being different from my system specs. I bought it due to an earlier post from Arc saying, "I would suggest you to get a new card; irrespective of the fact that it may not be the only reason behind the BSODs. We need to observe the situation after changing the GPU." I have updated my system specs to show new and old.

I will rerun with your settings as you've posted and repost with the results. The reason I had Post FX and the other settings such as:

• Burn-in
• Xtreme burn-in
• Post FX

I have not seen any crashes since changing my graphics card, but I have a new symptom that I was not getting from my old card. When running Batman Arkham Origins or Battlefield 4 side by side, dual monitors, with Bluestacks running Castle Clash, I get constant flickering from Bluestacks when it runs Castle Clash. I have not tried to run another app with Bluestacks to see if it only flickers while running apps. I did notice that, after updating my drivers from 331.82 to 332.21 the flickering has reduced a lot. I want to say about 50%, so I'm assuming the flickering problem is driver related?

I want to thank everyone for spending the time to help me trouble shoot my problems. I truly appreciate all the help.

Yes, I knew what the HW Monitors values meant, my question is what they are. TIMPIN0 if it's the GPU it's getting pretty high. If it's the motherboard, that's a problem. The values that need changing, I can't tell you if they are default. It depends om the manufacturer's bios. I can't imagine any of them putting the CPU temp warning as disabled, but I've seen stranger things. I know in bios, Asus has several warnings not to disable it. But, if you set the bios to default values and look at them, you would know. Whether they are disabled by default or not, I recommend enabling them. It's a no brainer to me. I must have missed that you changed cards, sorry. I'm sure you got a nice performance increase with the change.

Sorry I must admit I have never heard of Bluestacks or Castle Clash but I did a quick google search for both.

From what I found can I assume you are playing (for example) BF4 on one screen and the Castle Clash game on another screen?
If I am correct, could you tell me the reason for playing 2 games simultaneously? I have not known anyone do that before and I imagine it can't be too good for the PC, it may cause conflicts for the graphics card or something, I really don't know.
