    Sudden BSOD+loud noise from system

    Hi all,

This morning our dell desktop had sounded off a grinding noise and immediately shut down. The user at the computer had Outlook open and attempted to open a web browser when the issue occurred.. This is a refurb, possible hardware failure?

Upon further investigation this system had Bios A01 installed - its now upgraded to A15.. This may have been a factor. The loud noise I heard first hand is really just the system revving to full power at startup -_-
