I will not say "please" to you, coz what I am saying to you is for you; I will not be benefited anyhow if you do it. And, if you dont take the suggestions, that is the harassment to me; not to you. :)
You point has been taken :) Only new here and am no experts on analyzing dumps files, and all the help and advice/recommendations I get is appreciated

I found the existence of norton in your latest crash dump. If it is uninstalled properly, it should not be there anyhow.
It's fully uninstalled now as far as I can see. The latest crash dump I gave, Norton 360 was just un-installed and re-installed. But it's fully uninstalled from this computer giving constant bluescreens as I said above.

For MBAM, it would be good if you stayed with the free version. There is reason that I suggested for the free one only.
I will downgrade then. The reason please ?

I see that the USB3 driver I suggested earlier is not appropriate for your 8 series chip. Better you go to GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1150 - GA-Z87-HD3 (rev. 1.x), and get the Intel USB 3.0 Driver from there.
    Donwloaded and installed latest one.

Also try to update to the F6 BIOS. There must be some good reason that the F4 version (your one) is removed from the listing, despite of it not being old. Use @BIOS to update the BIOS; it is available under utilities. (Dont get any other utilities, BTW.)
The Bios update from above link gave this message when using the Efiflash.exe within Windows .

"The version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher"

Memtest86+ is not working? Not an usual situation. What happens if you boot from the bootable CD or USB?
The computer just boots in Windows 7 from hdd over booting off the usb stick when I select usb one to boot. Will test the stick from another pc soon and see what it does.

Finally, lack of driver is a very common for TP Link devices. TP Link sells the adapters, but the drivers are actually developed by Atheros. So sometimes those are not properly updated. It is always better to choose a brand who develop their drivers themselves, like Qualicomm Atheros.
Will check Qualicomm Atheros from shops. I prefer Wi-Fi over wired.

I stopped running my daily real time backup software from internal hdd to external disk via usb, as was not sure if this was also giving problems. Will look at resuming this and see how it goes.

Up to now no bluescreen as yet since later changes recommended done. Will see how it goes and update thread.

    Your motherboard:
    Code:
BaseBoardManufacturer = Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
    BaseBoardProduct = Z87-HD3
So logically there is no reason that the F6 BIOS will not work with it. GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1150 - GA-Z87-HD3 (rev. 1.x)
Try running @BIOS for once? Does it detect any new BIOS version available?

I prefer MBAM Free, coz MBAM is world's best virus scanner. The free version provides the scanner only. The paid version, on the other hand, provides a real time protection, too; and MBAM is not any competitor here with the other alternatives. So we need some other real time protection program. Multiple real time programs are not good, as they conflict with each other. (It is usually said that MBAM can work with any other antivirus; but the risk of conflict is still remains there).

About Memtest86+, probably you failed to burn it as a bootable USB. Can you try it burning a blank CD?

Good to know that the system is stable now. Let us know how everything goes.

    ======================================================================
** After the removal of Norton, give it a time. See how the computer runs. If the problem bounces back, plan for Memtest and BIOS update etc those are still pending.

    First off happy new year

Try running @BIOS for once? Does it detect any new BIOS version available?
Please clarify. Is this within Windows ?

(It is usually said that MBAM can work with any other antivirus; but the risk of conflict is still remains there).
I see. Well will downgrade to free if system shows conflicts.

USB is definetely nootable and run memtest86+. This pc does not see the usb as a device to boot from for some reason, while other pcs I've tried boots straight off it and start running memtest86+ . It does see DVD and even my other external usb, so I will burn the cd way and do it this way.

Good to know that the system is stable now. Let us know how everything goes.
Well only for few days sad to say. New year gave a bluescreen Logs are attached. There should be no Norton or TP Link in there for latest dumps.

** After the removal of Norton, give it a time. See how the computer runs. If the problem bounces back, plan for Memtest and BIOS update etc those are still pending
    .

Will run off cd for Memtest. BIOS I need clarification above as I don't see any @BIOS.

I've downloaded @BIOS and had to install App Center first to run @BIOS install. @Bios detected an update. @Bios flashed update within Windows and asked for restart but now computer will not boot in Windows anymore. It gives bluescreen while Windows is trying to start. Startup Repair can't repair it either. At this stage looks like I'll have to install Windows 7 Pro fully again and see if I can boot in computer.

Did it ask to change the storage controller, and did you respond to it?

If so, boot into the BIOS and and try the other storage controller modes.

@BIOS updates the BIOS most hassles free.

It did not ask for any change even while restarting. Even installation of a fresh Windows 7 can't complete with error

"Windows could not finish configuring the system. To attempt to resume configuration, restart the computer"

Got same message after two clean installation attempts.

Computer has not really been used since I upgraded motherboard 2 months ago. So a fresh install is not a hassle at this stage.

I will check controller modes within BIOS and see if I can get a fresh installation going :)

I assume by storage controller you are referring to SATA Mode Selection. It's currently set to AHCI. Other options are IDE and RAID.

The error am getting from what I've researched on Internet is related to a registry key that might be failing for following reasons

    a) Larger than 8kb
    b) Set with incorrect permissions
    c) Corrupt in some way

Apparently there is a log one can look at that will tell exactly what registry key is erroring out.

    These are the steps:

From the error message, do the following:
1.) Push Shift+F10 to get to a command prompt
    2.) Navigate to C:\windows\Panther
3.) Find the Setup.etl file and find a way to copy this file off of the system
4.) Copy the setup.etl file from the corrupted system to another computer that has Windows 7. Put it on the root of C:\ for easiest access.
5.) Open a Command Prompt on the Windows 7 computer.
6.) Navigate to the root of C:\ (or wherever you saved the file)
    7.) Type "tracerpt setup.etl -o logfile.csv"
8.) Close the command prompt and open up logfile.csv in your text editor of choice.
9.) Look through the log file (towards the end probably) for messages that say "Failed to process reg key or one of it's decendants"

This sure is keeping me busy. I might take computer back to the computer shop that did the motherboard upgrade, and get them to get Windows 7 Pro going again . Plus will ask them to refund the TP Link Wi-Fi card they recommended to me. Once fixed will re-install the needed stuff from thread again. BIOS version from System Information after boot shows F6.

They actually installed Windows SevenForums Diagnostic tool for me when analyzing the bluescreen I complained to them about. But they could not get one after few days testing in shop.

Think the way shop copied the Windows 7 OS for me when system was upgraded to newer hardware was not done properly. I had no issues with bluescreen when I was on my older Intel 4-series Gigabyte motherboard, with same graphics card, and the Windows 7 64 bit OS was on an IDE drive, that I installed myself with no issues. As the later Gigabyte motherboard does not do IDE, from what I was told by shop, I discussed with them to then image the OS on IDE and load it on a newer drive, and install the necessary. After is when I get so many issues.

Shop does not open as yet for new year, and I lost my patience with the re-install fresh from a CD, as this should work straight away. I have upgraded to Windows 8 Pro 64 bit, since few days ago on the same disk that Windows 7 install keeps giving problems. This went fine with no issues.

Have taken your advice and installed free MBAM, but Windows one you quoted was not installed as OS said said Windows 8 has a better one that comes with the CD. With GE Force graphics the 3D stuff was installed on version 314 and up to now no issues. My backups are also running fine with no issues for few days now. TP link I have not installed as yet.

I have a 3rd computer on much older hardware. I will use my old Gigabyte Intel 4-series motherboard and have it installed on that 3rd computer, and will run Windows 7 64 bit on that. The IDE disk with the original Windows 7 64 bit OS will be used on that one. Will see if I will transfer the TP link on that 3rd computer.

Think best to close this thread now. I see there is also a Windows 8 forum, which can come in handy if I get issues moving forward, and will use raise a new thread for Windows 7, if the 3rd computer gives problems after motherboard is replaced.

Thank you for your help on this matter
