You have all the drivers for an AMD system and an Intel system in the os. When it goes to start loading drivers, do you suppose it knows which ones to load?

skrillek, I am going to make an assumption here. You have an OEM system builders License. That license is only good for the system it was first installed on. To be legal you would have to buy a new Windows 7 OS. Were you trying to avoid that and that is why you just changed it over to the new system?

I dont know, i had win 7 home premium on one hdd but it was slow and i wanted to record gameplay, but the write speed of my hdd wasnt good enough for the fps and hd rwcording. so i bought a new one from maplins that had a faster write speed. I heard moving your os will also speed up general performance and boot speed which it did.

Moving the OS will not speed it up. A faster hard drive will. But, that does not cover the OEM Windows 7.

You first need to do a clean install and get it activated by Microsoft and we will continue from there. A clean install is always necessary when changing Motherboards, and activation is a requirement here. I think you will find your operation much better afterwards.

It was before you switched. Otherwise there would not be AMD drivers in your system.
