    BSOD 9f error occurs randomly for no reason


    Over the past few weeks I've come back to my computer to find it powered off. When I restart and check the Action Center it shows the following.

    Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
    OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3
    Locale ID: 1033

    WinDBG blames tihub3.sys (a Texas Instruments USB driver). Uninstall any Texas Instruments software, then run Windows Update....it should hopefully download and install a generic USB driver so that your USB port is still functional.
