BSOD PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA when starting Rocksmith Demo

    Hi

I downloaded the Rocksmith demo from Steam, partly to check if my PC is up to the job, spec-wise.
When I start the program, I always get a BSOD, usually PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA, and once a SYSTEM-SERVICE_EXCEPTION.
The blue screen also mentions stdriver64.sys.

Despite much googling and driver updating, I've not managed to correct this.

    Please could you help?

    SF Diagnostic Tool zip attached.

    Thanks

    Andy

stdriver64.sys is related to SoundTap Streaming Audio Recorder, this program should be removed.
Post back if you encounter more BSODs.

    Code:
    BugCheck 50, {fffff88007ca4000, 1, fffff88005cbe434, 0}

Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\stdriver64.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for stdriver64.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for stdriver64.sys

Could not read faulting driver name
    Probably caused by : stdriver64.sys ( stdriver64+6434 )

    Problem solved!

    Thanks very much

I didn't have SoundTap installed, but when I searched (again) for stdriver64 I found it in NCH's Debut install folder (Debut Video Capture Software).
I installed this software moons ago to capture some VHS video. Looks like the audio capture part has a driver bug. I wonder if NCH are aware of this. They have many AV software products and I suppose they ship stdriver64 with many of them.

I've now removed Debut and the problem is completely solved.

Thanks very much for the very speedy assistance.
