Multiple BSOD's in the past when playing games and just idling.

    Hey!

In the past(and today) i have been getting plenty of BSOD's. Most of them happen when i play games like Planetside 2 but some of them happen when i am doing something like watching a video or leaving it on for an extended period of time. I have also been getting plenty of freezes, forcing me to restart my computer.

My CPU fan is quite loud and i first thought all of the BSOD's were caused by my computer overheating, so i put a relativity small sized fan right next to the computer. It quietened down the noise a little bit but it did not stop the freezes and BSOD's from coming.

Ah, almost forgot, when i was cleaning out my CPU fan, i did not have any thermal paste on me, so there isn't any new paste between the chip and heat sink.

Here are my some of my computer specs:
OS: Windows 7 Home premium x64 bit.
    CPU: AMD FX(tm)-4170 Quad-core Processor
Motherboard: ASRock N68-VS3 FX 4.20 GHz
    Memory: Transcend 8GB JM DDR3 1333 U-DIMM 2Rx8
Graphics Card(s): Gigabyte geforce GTX 650ti OC edtion

I recommend installing a genuine version of Windows 7. Counterfeit installations such as yours contain heavily modified core system files making the installation behave in an unpredictable manner. Because of this, any BSODS contain be pinpointed with accuracy, and many analysts wont attempt to analyse and fix the problems.
