    - drivers are the latest.

My hunch is that is related with memory
--- how much virtual memory can be set to 4gb Ram???

Hello and welcome Ices mate are you sure the RAM is not bad??

As I don't know why or how much virtual RAM to be is I would first test the RAM with this.

    MEMTEST

https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.htmlthis one you will need to make a bootable disk set the BIOSto optical (or USB if preferred) boot the machine and let it run for at LEAST 8passes unless the errors come up straight away. Takes fair time to complete andsome leave it running overnight.
But as I said if the errors come fairly quickly the you can stop the test because it will be indicative of a stick or the slot or both going south.

Ok mate if you follow this you will find it real easy.

    REINSTALL

For installing I prefer a disk to be honest but if you wantto try again this is the one to follow
CleanReinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 make sureit is the right version ie Home Premium or Ultimate whatever you have a codefor and then the language and do not use the ones with a large "N" or"old" beside them.
You can use a disk or USB stick with this.
