PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA after new RAM and Graphics Card

I have recently added 2x4GB RAM and a new video card to my system, and luckily enough this is when the BSOD started to happen (so I guess this makes it much easier to pinpoint the cause). This only happens when I play RIFT...I can play for a very short period of time (approx 30 minutes), and then the BSOD occurs.

I have run a full memory test (mdsched) with no errors/alerts to report. I have completely removed all previous versions of any graphics drivers I might have had installed, removed the graphics card from the Device Manager, restarted in Safe Mode, and re-installed the graphics card...all to no avail.

In the 4 years I've owned this computer, this is the only time I have ever BSOD-ed. I am fairly certain that the problem rests either with the RAM or the graphics card (GeForce GTX 650Ti), both of which were bought brand new direct from the store (Memory Express).

I have attached the output files from the SF Diagnostic Tool output, for those who are able to help me.

Thank you in advance for any and all assistance you are able to offer.

    It just happened again.

I installed DriverMax (Innovative Solutions) to check on my drivers, and found 11 out-of-date. I updated 2 drivers (my graphics card driver and a PCI controller), and thought I'd try my luck. After approximately 10 minutes of Rift gameplay, BSOD with a BCCode of 50 (BCCode 50 was my first problem, too). Attached are the latest SF Diagnostic Tools output files.

Kulstad mate personally I don't everuse those driver providers I always go to the manufacturers so I would put alot of faith in them. I would get onto the Dell site for them http://esupport.sony.com/US/p/model-home.pl?mdl=VPCS111FMS&template_id=1&region_id=1&tab=download#/downloadTab

Just how many passes did you do withmemtest mate as you have to do at least 8 passes unless the errors start to popup straight way. If you get any errors then you then have to test each stick indifferent slots too. It is tedious but necessary.

The driver for the GPU is http://www.geforce.com/drivers

But for starters and to eliminate the simple stuff first run these .

    Thanks for the reply, ICit2lol.

When I ran the memory test, I chose the in-depth option (not sure what the exact name of it was, but it was option 3 in the list). It ran overnight, but didn't find any issues.

I've run all the utilities you've told me to run...

    • SFC found no issues
    • DiskCheck found no issues
    • SuperAntiSpyware found 1 item of note (lots of coookies, tho)
      • Rogue.MSE-Fraud (in AppData\Roaming\install)

    • Malware found nothing.
    • ADW Cleaner found quite a few things

    Code:

I did not download or install the GPU driver from the link you provided, as I thought I would get the housekeeping out of the way first. Should I proceed with that now (I assume in Safe Mode)?

I'm not averse to reinstalling Windows, if that ends up being what is required. I don't want to, but I will if I have to.

Yes mate go ahead and clean with the ADW I do every time I run it if I am suspicious.

Yep go ahead with the GPU driver although I would e a but shy of that beta version.

If it comes to a fresh install mate try this as it will install just the OS and no bloatware form Dell

    REINSTALL

For installing I prefer a disk to be honest but if you wantto try a USB stick go ahead and this is the one to follow
CleanReinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 make sureit is the right version ie Home Premium or Ultimate whatever you have a codefor and then the language and do not use the ones with a large "N" or"old" beside them.
You can use a disk or USB stick with this.

Due to my lack of patience with this error (I've received a few more BSDO's since my last post: MEMORY_MANAGEMENT with BCCode 1a, and DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL with BCCode d1), I've decided to follow the instructions you posted for a clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate.

I had just enough time last night to install it, and download and install all the *important* Microsoft updates. I'm at work now, but I will be picking up where I left off when I get home.

I'm hesitant to close this thread, as I don't know for certain whether this has fixed my issues or not, but I truly thank you for all of your help thus far.

Sorry late reply mate but had to do late shifts at work and yes probably the best idea and when you do and if you want to I always run a back up of the registry and the install straight away.

The install I image using this Imaging with free Macrium
    also handy is this
MACRIUM REFLECT - Create Bootable Rescue USB Drive

The updates again if it is your cup of tea set them to download in lots you can manage I do and avoid sorting through the chaff looking for the ones that has mucked things up.

    BACKUP THE REGISTRY

Start > type regedit > right clickon blue reference in start column > Runas administrator > click on File> click on Export > Save > name it whatever you please plus the dateand to where ever you want and OK .

It takes about a minute and I usually do this straight aftera clean install and the machine is running ok. I save to documents as a rule anda stick.

Yes mate don't close the thread until the fat lady sings:)
