BSOD mostly while playing games, error 0x0000001E

I've recently begun getting random crashes while playing games on my PC. At first i never received a BSOD, the PC just froze and restarted but I made sure that the PC didn't automatically restart after a crash and i got a BSOD this time.

I first suspected that high temps were the problem but when i checked them they were fine. I then thought that the PSU might be faulty, but from what I've been able to gather it shouldn't be any problems with that either.

This is my latest dmp file that i received when i played the new Assassins creed game. However i must tell you that the "freeze restarts" have occurred on more games than that, even once while on the desktop after playing a game.

I'd greatly appreciate some support to locate whatever it is that's causing my system to fail all the time.

The crashes are very random, sometimes just a few minutes into gaming and sometimes after several hours. They also seem to occur more often in Assassins Creed as opposed to DayZ. This might have to do something with me using a controller for Assassins Creed. It's a PS3 controller connected to a USB Bluetooth device. I then use motioninjoy's drivers to emulate it as a xbox controller.

Thanks for your time and help!

Well, I have to telly ya; that motionjoy driver could very well be the culprit as i did see another thread on these forums with the same or similar issues; and that ended up being the problem. Especially when you are referring to trying to "emulate" a piece of hardware. I dont think doing that usually works very well as the pc/windows platforms are not meant to be played with a console controller per say.

It's rather strange though, i've been using that driver for a very long time and never experienced similar problems with it before.

I can't confirm that the problem is totally gone yet but i feel like i should have gotten a crash if it weren't.
I stopped using "motioninjoy" and instead i use "better ds3". I haven't experienced a crash for 2 days. Hopefully this might help others with similar problems.
