    Daily BSOD, error 0x00000109

I've been struggling with two different BSODs - a memory_management issue I fixed after running memtest86+ (one of my two 4 GB modules was corrupted) and then there is the remaining ntoskrnl.exe bug check code 0X00000109. I understand this to be a CRITICAL_STRUCTURE_CORRUPTION. Unfortunately, this doesn't tell me much - and I have no idea how to interpret a dump file.

These BSODs have pretty much been there since day one, when I built the computer. I struggled a bit with a very large cpu-fan and fumbled a lot with the screws etc. Could this potentially have led to something? I have an Asus Xonar DG card and have had some problems with it. Could this be something? I've had no problems with the card after I switched to the alternative UNIXonar drivers. I've had no temperature issues.

Other than the BSOD everything works as it should - and have been for the past two years. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

    CRITICAL_STRUCTURE_CORRUPTION (109)
This bugcheck is generated when the kernel detects that critical kernel code or
data have been corrupted. There are generally three causes for a corruption:
    1) A driver has inadvertently or deliberately modified critical kernel code
     or data. See http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/driver/kernel/64bitPatching.mspx
    2) A developer attempted to set a normal kernel breakpoint using a kernel
debugger that was not attached when the system was booted. Normal breakpoints,
"bp", can only be set if the debugger is attached at boot time. Hardware
breakpoints, "ba", can be set at any time.
    3) A hardware corruption occurred, e.g. failing RAM holding kernel code or data.

I would start with a clean installation of a genuine Windows 7 - an ACER OEM on a retail motherboard violates the Microsoft EULA and is considered a counterfeit installation. Depending on the source of the crack, there could be all sorts of issues with the installation. A genuine installation is less likely to result is the issues you are experiencing.
