    Help ASAP: BSOD 0x07B after flashing new updated bios


    I know im supposed to install a program and run tests with it to get logs and info and such, but thats just not possible. This PC will not boot at all. It just says STOP: 0x07B. Tried startup repair. Said it was successful, but still got a BSOD. Not much else i can say unfortunately.

    Apperantly, i flashed the same bios image, and it didnt update.

I've got theAsusP8z77-vMotherboard with revision Board: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. P8Z77-V Rev 1.xx The page for Asus support says an update is available : P8Z77-V BIOS 1606, but it also says that there is a risk of data loss. So, the questions is : Should I or Shouldn't I...:confused:
