BSOD after misclick on ad. Then, BSODs video card related? Alt-tabbing
Hi. My computer randomly started receiving BSODs after mis-clicking an ad which didn't even load. I think it's probably not related to any viruses since I already scanned my computer with MBAM. However, I had 3 more BSODs that occurred while playing osu!.
Activity prior to BSOD:
1st BSOD - Web browsing and misclicked on ad. 0x3b error
Ran chkdsk only seeing one thing done "Index entry A0014071.ini in index $I30 of file 45565 is incorrect." But, it said it found errors but couldn't continue in read-only mode...
2nd BSOD - Alt tabbing osu! 0x3b error
3rd BSOD - Closed osu! in window mode, resulted in 0x50 error
4th BSOD - Alt tabbing osu! 0x3b error
I did not install anything for the past couple weeks and these BSODs have just randomly appeared.
I just checked my event viewer log to see that NvStreamSvc completely flooded the Windows Logs - Application section. Could that be related to my problems? Prior to this post, I had just disabled that service in msconfig. I also see CAP12 errors occurring after the BSODs.
In all dmp files, they include ntoskrnl.exe as one of the causes. The first one indicated nvidia drivers as one of the causes, so I had updated them. However, I still received BSODs regardless.
Thank you for the BSOD solving service! Very appreciated.
