BSOD on startup when SurroundView is enabled

When the computer reaches the Windows logo, it hangs for a while before blue screening. Boots up fine when I turn SurroundView off. The dedicated card is an AMD Radeon HD 7800 series, and the onboard card is an ATI Radeon 3000.

    Thanks

Try uninstalling completely, then reinstalling it.

    I have a suggested test:

Uninstall Virtual Audio Cable, then reboot. Lets see if the system is stable.

The computer was blue screening while reinstalling AMD catalyst, it blue screened when it got to installing the audio driver, so I just did a custom install and didn't install the audio driver. So something in device manager called 'High Definition Audio Device' stayed on Microsoft drivers, instead of updating to AMD. Not if it is VAC, there's an entry in device manager specifically for VAC, though there could be 2 I guess. Maybe it's the onboard sound card? Anyway, bluescreens have stopped now that I'm not using atihdw76. I still don't really get why turning on SurroundView made the computer BSOD though, it's as though it really doesn't like having both graphics cards in use, no problems till I turned SurroundView on. Thanks for the help
